The Quannongtai Cup announcement invited composers, singers and agricultural communities to create music expressing farmers’ experiences. It welcomed traditional and contemporary approaches rather than prescribing a single musical style.
The call set a submission deadline of 30 August 2025 and described an intended awards programme in Vientiane that November. This archive preserves the announcement and wheat-field poster as cultural material; it does not treat the planned award as a verified ceremony.
