China Agriculture Cooperation Association Delegation Attended Food Security Seminar in Athens
The forum website recounts the 7 November 2024 Athens seminar on food security, crop science and cooperative exchange.
An exchange at the Agricultural University of Athens extended the Cyprus visit into crop science, food security and cooperative development.
The seminar brought agricultural cooperation into a scientific setting. The recorded programme included the effects of climate on soil salinity, olive cultivation and olive-oil polyphenols.
Discussion also covered agricultural science, cooperatives and commercial exchange. The event formed a follow-up to the Cyprus forum rather than a separate edition of the Global Farmers Forum.
The seminar programme joined presentations on crop systems and salinity with olive cultivation, product research and Greek herbs and small fruits. Agricultural cooperatives and supply-chain enterprise featured alongside research, giving the exchange a route from scientific questions to the organisation and marketing of production.
