Solidarity and shared development in Cyprus
The third Global Farmers Forum met in Limassol on 4 November 2024. The gathering joined international agricultural dialogue with Cyprus cooperation, vineyard visits and a rural photography and short-video awards programme, giving different forms of farming experience a shared stage.

The forum’s theme emphasized solidarity and shared development. Officials, farmer organizations, specialists and researchers discussed agricultural policy, farmer interests, innovation and trade. The association’s account records an agricultural-cooperation agreement with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The wider programme included vineyard visits and conversation about agricultural development and tourism. A separate crop-science and food-security seminar followed at the Agricultural University of Athens on 7 November.
The inaugural Quannongtai rural photography and short-video awards ceremony took place alongside the forum. Images of the ceremony remain part of the Limassol record, while the competition’s selected rural artwork belongs to its own cultural context.
