The exchange

Following the Vientiane meeting, the Macao session convened on 4 November. Its programme included roundtables on digital trade and compliance, green cold chains and sustainable finance.

WFA’s postevent reports describe publication of the Macau Consensus, a nonbinding action framework. The reported priorities include cross-border data-sharing pilots, greener cold chains and agricultural trade facilitation.

The framework connects agricultural production with the information, logistics and finance that support the movement of goods. Its priorities guide continuing cooperation across those links.
