The encounter

The story of the exchange.

The Vientiane session took place on 3 November 2025, followed by Macao on 4 November. The association and the Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry brought government, farmer-organization and enterprise perspectives into the dual-city programme.

In Laos, discussion included sustainable agriculture and practical technology such as solar-powered water pumps. The Macao programme examined trade-policy coordination, digital tools, customs and compliance, green cold chains and sustainable finance.

The meeting concluded with the Macau Consensus, described in the English report as a nonbinding action framework. It set directions for agricultural data-sharing pilots, greener cold-chain systems and trade facilitation. The photo record is separated by city so that each session remains identifiable.
