The meeting took place on 20 May 2025. The association reports inviting Venezuela to the second GSSA and discussing the country’s agricultural experience and opportunities for cooperation with China and ASEAN.
The ambassador indicated interest in involving other Latin American and Caribbean countries. Agricultural trade, technology exchange and possible links with Hainan featured in the conversation, alongside sustainable productivity and the protection of natural resources.
