Myanmar: recovery and agricultural dialogue
The association met Myanmar’s newly appointed chargé d’affaires in Singapore to discuss agriculture and recovery after the earthquake. The conversation also covered participation in the sustainable-agriculture summit and possible future business and technical exchanges.

The diplomatic meeting took place on 4 June 2025. The association’s account records discussion of Myanmar’s agricultural circumstances, the recent earthquake and hopes for stability and recovery.
The chargé d’affaires welcomed efforts to connect relevant Myanmar institutions with the second GSSA. The discussion also explored agricultural-enterprise visits and the possibility of hosting a future summit in Myanmar.
