On 6 March 2024, the association’s delegation met Malaysia’s agriculture minister in Kuala Lumpur. The discussion covered tropical agricultural resources and opportunities for cooperation in technology, agricultural-product trade and investment.
The report identifies information sharing, market access, product recognition and joint technical work as discussion areas. Training and cultural exchange also featured. The programme brought technical and commercial priorities into the same ministerial dialogue.
