Fruit production and logistics dialogue in Malaysia
A Chinese delegation’s March 2024 visit to Malaysia brought producer organizations, agricultural traders and logistics interests into discussion. The programme examined product demand, trading relationships and the movement of farm goods, with an emphasis on stronger China–Malaysia agricultural supply chains.

The delegation met representatives of the Malaysia Fruit Farmers Association, Kia Shing Importers & Exporters and the Melaka Gateway project on 6–7 March 2024. Discussion connected Malaysian production experience with agricultural trade and supply-chain logistics.
The exchange considered product quality, demand, pricing and the organization of distribution. Participants also discussed sharing information and linking resources through an agricultural supply-chain platform, as a potential means of improving circulation and commercial coordination.
