Field exchange and forum preparation in Laos
A September visit to Laos combined practical agricultural exchange with preparations for the fourth farmers forum. The delegation met local offices, agricultural associations and enterprises to understand cooperation opportunities and the needs of the forthcoming programme.

The visit took place in Vientiane on 11–12 September 2025. Preparatory discussions covered venue arrangements, guest invitations and logistics for the fourth forum, with briefings from the association’s regional offices.
The delegation visited the Laos–China Agricultural Association and Yunnan State Farms Group’s Lao company, and met enterprises involved in durian and tobacco production. An informal chamber-of-commerce exchange also considered Lao agricultural development. This September visit is distinct from the November forum itself.

On 2 November 2025, the association held an informal exchange with Lao party and state representatives in Vientiane, ahead of the fourth Global Farmers Forum. The meeting continued its institutional relationships in Laos.
