The first organizing-committee working meeting was held online. The historical report, published on 13 December 2023, records discussion of the venue, invitees, agenda and funding arrangements for the future third forum.
Cyprus was selected provisionally during these early preparations. The committee outlined opening and closing sessions, keynote contributions, sub-forums and interactive exchange, while seeking participation from farmer organizations, officials, research institutions, enterprises and civil society.
