Nicos Ioannou and a visiting delegation toured Jinhua on 29–30 May 2023. The report describes the Wanfo Pagoda area and conversations with local hosts about connections between Cyprus and Jinhua.
The programme also included the Chinese Wu Opera Theatre and Wu Opera Museum. Discussions considered the possibility of bringing Wu Opera to Cyprus. The visit brought local cultural institutions into a wider conversation about international exchange.
