Food security and agricultural trade in Guangzhou
The second Global Farmers Forum connected international agricultural exchange with food security, greener production and market access. Its Guangzhou programme brought farmer organizations, officials and enterprises together to discuss how cooperation can move from shared priorities to practical relationships.

The forum met at Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center on 2 November 2023. Its central theme linked maintaining global food security with facilitating international agricultural trade.
Speakers examined agricultural science and technology, ecological transition and better connections between production and markets. Contributions also raised precision agriculture, organic farming, the role of smaller enterprises and support for young agricultural entrepreneurs.
The association’s retrospective account records cooperation agreements and the reading of a global farmers cooperation initiative. These were part of the meeting’s effort to join policy dialogue, technical exchange and commercial cooperation.
