At Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center, participants exchanged organisational experience and discussed reducing production costs, protecting the environment and improving product quality. The secretary general reviewed earlier forums, disaster relief, rural scholarships and international project exchanges.
The discussion also addressed the following year’s work: stronger links among production, processing and markets; education support for rural youth; and preparations for the third forum. Rural photography and agricultural-product festivals were considered as ways to connect trade with farming culture.
